About Start Historical
A beginner's guide that tries to be fair to every publisher.
Who runs it
Start Historical is run by Warlord Minis (operated by Bear Corp), an authorized Warlord Games retailer that ships across Canada from Alberta.
Our bias, stated plainly
We sell Warlord Games products, so we have a reason to prefer them. We try to make up for it by covering other publishers fairly and citing where details come from. Store links are tagged utm_source=starthistorical and only go to products listed on the store when the page is built.
Not Warlord Games
Start Historical is independent. It is not run or endorsed by Warlord Games, Too Fat Lardies, Battlefront or Studio Tomahawk. Bolt Action, Hail Caesar, Pike & Shotte, Victory at Sea, Blood Red Skies and Cruel Seas are trademarks of Warlord Games Ltd; Chain of Command of Too Fat Lardies; Flames of War of Battlefront Miniatures; SAGA of Studio Tomahawk.
